Going full-tilt HAPPY!

Hi all! My name is Kim Machado, and I am chief bloomer here at our very informal Happy Acres Farm Muskoka. I work with my side-kick Marty the Cat, and we grow and sell hand-picked farm fresh cut-flowers in the heart of Ontario cottage country.
We start all of our blooms from seed, bulb, or corm/tuber and nurture them in our fields without the use of harmful chemicals. We work with Mother Nature, not against, to create a harmonious environment for the birds and the bees, and the people too!  Come harvest time, we choose the most viable stems and employ ethical means to create long-lasting, eye-popping bouquets to help people within our community celebrate extraordinary moments or more simply to revel in the natural beauty of everyday life.

There are some exciting plans in the works for where we will be selling our blooms locally, and we also hope to host some informal events here at the farm - like Bouquet Bars or U-Picks days where you can D-I-Y your own bouquets with flowers you have hand-chosen from our fields. We have partnered with several local retail partners so you can buy or pick-up our blooms when you are out and about in Huntsville or Port Sydney.  

We very much look forward to meeting flower lovers and flower growers who share a passion for igniting joy through nature's bounty of beautiful, happy, and chemical-free blooms.
